Yahoo Slips To Bing and Google

A recent comScore report shows both Bing and Google gaining market share in the US at the expense of Yahoo. Recent investment from Microsoft seems to be paying dividends for the Bing platform, with a gain of 40 basis points. Google gained a slight increase.
Yahoo will be disappointed with the latest results considering the recent developments for their in house search facility. The new Search Pad tool and a host of marketing activity has done little to improve market share. Google on the other hand will be delighted with the news. Their recent troubles with the Chinese censorship row and a possible pull out have been forgotten for the time being with these latest stats. It sees Google up to a 65.7% share of the search engine market, it’s highest ever position. Bing will look to push further and expand their exposure to users across the US and Europoe foremost.

Twitter Eyes 2009 Profit
