Security experts say that Windows Live space is now being used by spammers from across the globe to drive traffic to illegal pharmaceutical sites. This technique is known as search engine poisoning.
The re-sellers use these platforms on the blog sites to gain not only credability but also free hosting on-mass. In seconds they can post template sites with hundreds of links, making it hard to track the activity and stop them repeating the process. It also gets them quick although short lived incoming links to other sites.
