SEO Software
As the industry gets smarter when it comes to adding content to aid SEO, the emergence of SEO Software has been inevitable. The fact that there are so many different places we feel we should be posting comments, leaving blog and submitting articles it’s been a great challenge to find a way to reduce the amount of time it takes to do this.
The first piece of software we will look at is the article submission type, which can save so much time but should be contemplated with great care too. Because when an article is written for use away from our own site, we don’t tend to care about the risk of duplicate content so much. For this reason, and we have done this many times in the past and continue to do so, it is possible to have one piece of text posted on numerous different websites. This means you can spend just 30 minutes preparing some work then get the benefit of having more than one source of traffic and back links in return. Because many of the article sites are owned by the same people, and have the same log-in process, there is a chance to use software to do this in bulk with little work involved.
The main reasons that this can be bad is that some of the sites the software submits you too could be a little poor in terms of SEO and rankings, which means it can potentially be a little harmful to your SEO campaign. There are question marks over the techniques employed by many of them, and we feel it is ultimately better to select just a choice few to use. There are really only 10-15 that are what we would consider ‘great’ options so we would not recommend software for this.
Other popular SEO software comes in the form of management programmes, which help monitor the performance of SEO campaigns on an individual basis. If you are an optimization manager then this kind of software is a must. It shows keyword positions, competitor information, possible link partners and other rankings like Alexa and Google PageRank »”>Google PageRank. There are only a handful of SEO Software packages on the market, and most of them cost upwards of £500 per year if you need to register for multiple domains and lots of separate keywords.
