The Mirror Group of companies recently relaunched the main website they run, Mirror.co.uk. In doing so most people would have thought that traffic volume was the key to success, but it now appears they are more than happy to rely on users views. This has led to them pushing the quality of the journalism as appose to the SEO.
The reasons behind this decision is the fact that firstly they have a large following created from the print media they are involved with, but also by using feedback from users. Seeing the internal link structure and keyword density interfering with the site content meant the site was not being perceived as ‘good quality’ according to certain sources.
